How to install
You can install and deploy Mago Pro in different ways.
Using a Mago Pro certified core unit
Check the list of Certified devices (PC or OPS). Certified devices include a clean, optimized Windows image with Mago Pro already installed. In this case, you only need to configure Windows Update policies and optional Intune management according to your IT standards.

Check the minimum requirements here: Certified devices > Minimum Specifications for Other PC / NUC / OPS. If you install Mago manually, the target device must meet the minimum hardware and software requirements specified in this guide.
A fresh installation of Windows 11 is mandatory. Devices running preconfigured operating system images such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, vendor-modified OPS builds or any third-party software bundles are not supported. Support will not be provided for systems that do not meet the required specifications.
During installation, Mago Pro creates a dedicated Windows user account named “Mago” that is configured for automatic logon. The Mago account is a non-administrator account and operates in a secure, sandboxed environment to prevent tampering and to protect sensitive data. Running Mago from an administrator account or any non-dedicated Windows profile is not supported.

Mago Pro can also be deployed through automated software distribution systems such as Intune, SCCM, PDQ Deploy or any enterprise software management platform. This method installs Mago Pro silently, without user interaction, and is ideal for large-scale rollouts.
