# BYOM

With Mago configured as BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting), the room relies on a user device to start and manage meetings. When a user enters the room, they connect their laptop or mobile to the room system, which provides the display, audio, and video. No room identity, calendar, or dedicated video conferencing license is required.

### Choose your hardware
