# Whiteboard

Mago Whiteboard is designed to deliver a natural and responsive writing experience. For the best performance, an interactive display is required so that users can write, draw and interact directly on the screen with a pen or with touch input.

Mago supports all common interaction types provided by certified interactive displays, including pen input, finger touch, hand gestures and punch interactions. These capabilities are available on all devices listed in the “Certified Room Devices” chapter.

For optimal smoothness, we recommend setting the display refresh rate to **60 Hz or higher** when available. A higher refresh rate reduces latency and improves the natural feel of ink strokes during fast writing.

Depending on the display model, the automatic detection mode for pen input and hand or finger touch may need to be configured on the device. Mago fully supports the advanced pen features offered by the interactive displays included in the certified list, such as pressure sensitivity, palm rejection and rear-pen erasing (when available on the hardware).
