Licensing requirements

Joining meetings as a guest

With Mago, joining meetings as a guest with the supported video conferencing providers is free and does not require any user or room license.

Beginning March 2, 2026, joining Zoom meetings from Mago will require a connected and authorized Zoom user account. This applies to all join methods, including Meeting ID and passcode, as well as starting new meetings. Make sure a Zoom user is connected in your organization settings to ensure uninterrupted access.

Joining meetings as a host

With Mago, starting or joining a meeting as a host requires a license assigned to the account for the specific video conferencing provider.
