# User Guide

## Home Screen

The Home Screen allows you to access existing stages, create a new stage, access user settings, or connect to a display.

## Connect to a Display

Select the Connect button to open the connection dialog. You can scan a QR code, select a display from the list, or enter a six-digit code manually.

Use the Enter Code option to manually enter a six-digit connection code.

## Create a Stage

Create a new stage by entering a name and optionally selecting an image.

## Using a Stage

### Opening a Stage

Select a stage from the home screen to open it. A new stage opens in its default configuration with an empty layout ready for content.

### Adding Content

Press the + button to add content. You can add content from the following sources:

* Photo Library
* Camera
* Files
* Scan Documents
* Notes
* Websites
* YouTube links

### Choosing a Layout

Tap the layout selector to choose how content is arranged on stage. Available grid options are **1, 2, 4, 6**, or a **custom** configuration.

### Placing Content in the Grid

Once a layout is selected, you can add content to individual grid cells in two ways:

* Tap the content in the content bar, then tap **Add to Stage**
* Long-press and drag content directly into a grid cell

### Magic Annotation

Enable **Magic Annotation** to draw directly over displayed content. Annotations appear in real time on the connected display.

### Expanding Content

Tap the expand icon in any item to allow them to fill the layout area for a larger view.

### Object Controls

Some content types have dedicated controls:

* **3D models:** switch between material options
* **Videos:** rewind, play/pause, and skip
* **PDF/Image Gallery:** next and previous page
* **Note:** pen/eraser size and color with undo and redo

### Navigating Content

Certain content types support interactive navigation:

* **Images:** stack multiple images to create a slideshow.
* **Websites:** scrolling and link navigation are mirrored on connected Android and Windows displays
* **Images, PDFs, remote agents, and notes**: support zoom and pan.

### Play Modes

A stage can operate in three modes:

* **Default:** Full access to upload, remove, and manage content.
* **Player:** Users cannot upload or remove content from the content bar, but the grid and existing content remain accessible and interactive.
* **Showroom:** The content bar is hidden entirely, and items cannot be removed from the grid. Intended for display or presentation use.

To exit Player or Showroom mode, tap the **Stop** button in the top-left corner. If the device has a password, PIN, or biometric lock configured, you will be prompted to authenticate before returning to Default mode.

### Disconnecting from a Display

To disconnect, tap the button in the top-right corner and select **Disconnect from Display.**
