Welcome screen overview

Default home screen (from Mago version 7)

Starting from version 7, the main screen layout has been updated with the following elements:

  • Top Left: The display name of the room or system. This will appear on your device when connecting through Miracast, AirPlay, Google Cast.

  • Top Center: The Wi-Fi information (if available) showing the current network status.

  • Top Right: The current date and time.

  • Center: A slideshow of visual instructions. This slideshow will guide you on how to connect to Mago Essential, with the instructions displayed on the left side (text) and corresponding images on the right side. The slideshow will cover the different ways to connect, including:

    • Windows laptops (Miracast).

    • Apple devices (AirPlay).

    • Android devices (Miracast or Google Cast).

    • HDMI cable for wired connection.

  • Bottom Left: A widget showing quick instructions for connecting via magolink.com, with options to scan a QR code or input a 6-digit code.

Default home screen (up to Mago version 6)

When using Mago Essential (up to version 6), the main screen will show the following elements:

  • Top Left: The display name of the room or system. This will appear on your device when connecting through Miracast, AirPlay, Google Cast.

  • Top Center: The company or room logo.

  • Top Right: The current date and time.

  • Center: A background image with a QR code and a 6-digit code displayed at the bottom of the QR code. This code and the QR code are used to connect your device to the Mago Essential system via Magolink.com.

  • Bottom: A series of widgets providing quick instructions on how to connect to Mago Essential using different devices:

    • Miracast for Windows devices.

    • AirPlay for Apple devices.

    • Google Cast for Android devices.

    • Wired screen sharing via HDMI cable.

    • If available, a Wi-Fi widget will also be displayed, showing the current Wi-Fi network information.

Alternative home screen (Digital Signage)

If you see a different home screen instead of the usual Mago Essential instructions, it may be because your company has set up a custom digital signage page. This page may display company-specific content, such as announcements or other media, instead of connection instructions. If this happens, please refer to your IT admins or follow the company's instructions to understand how to connect and use the system.
