# Standalone with BYOM Kit

The Mago BYOM Kit enhances your Mago Essential experience by integrating the room's AV peripherals (e.g., camera, microphone, speakers, or all-in-one bars) for a seamless meeting experience.

Follow these steps to connect and deploy the Mago BYOM Kit:

1. **Power the BYOM Receiver**
   * Connect the Mago BYOM Receiver to a power outlet using the included power adapter.
   * Ensure that the receiver is powered on before proceeding.
2. **Connect Room Peripherals to the Receiver**
   * Connect your room’s camera, microphone, speakers, or all-in-one AV bar to the appropriate ports on the BYOM Receiver.
   * Ensure the peripherals are properly connected and powered on.
3. **Place the BYOM Transmitter**
   * &#x20;Position the Mago BYOM Transmitter on a table or another area where users will have access to it during the meeting.
   * The transmitter can be placed up to 25 meters (about 82 feet) away from the receiver, ensuring the wireless connection remains stable.
